Our mission is to lead with a high level of hospitality for our guests and our team, everyday. The main dining room will be able to seat 110 guests, and our second floor event space "The Harlow Room" will host events ranging in size from 20-200. We are seeking like minded candidates who are passionate about high levels of hospitality and cuisine, know how to lead large teams to successful outcomes, and can make every service enjoyable for our guests and team. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Nutley, NJ for a Chef De Cuisine. The Chef De Cuisine will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, recipe development, and leading a team of culinary professionals. The Chef De Cuisine will also collaborate with the executive chef to create innovative and delicious dishes, ensure food quality and safety, maintain kitchen sanitation standards, and manage inventory and ordering. They will contribute to the overall success and growth of the restaurant by delivering exceptional dining experiences. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef De Cuisine or similar role Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients Strong leadership and management skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Creativity and ability to develop new and innovative dishes Good knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with a team Culinary degree or certification is a plus Passion for food and dedication to providing exceptional dining experiences Comfortable speaking with guests in the dining room and training staff at daily pre shift meetings Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary (starting at $80,000) Quarterly Bonus Opportunity Medical, Dental & Vision (50/50) Paid Time Off
